This is my runner deck from Australian Nationals that went 3-2 on the day.

Unlike my Cybernetics Division deck there isn’t too much to explain here. The deck is a heap of fun to play with a very aggressive crim-style early game that moves fairly quickly into a dominating shaper late game. With Hot Pursuit, Sucker and Fenris all centrals require some degree of protection which makes defending a remote difficult. It performs well in most matchups, with particularly good game against Argus.

Fenris for Liza in the early to mid-game when you need some gas. Half the time you’ll end up going for Steve though as the sustained econ of drawing with ProCo and bringing back your high impact events is nuts.

The only change I’d consider is switching The Makers Eye for Indexing and dropping Psyche Mike for Freedom Through Equality if you’re expecting a lot of six agenda Azmari. I knew there would be a lot of Argus so getting the money back from RnD digs was more important in the effort to stay alive.

Round 1 (Win): Argus Good tussle against an interesting take on Argus. Thankfully I kept my hand size up because they had two False Leads scored and popped one of them to High Profile Target when I had one tag. Knowing that I was likely to be blindsided by a kill I setup for another turn before Makers Eye into RnD with a few Turning Wheel counters to get the two points I needed to win.

Round 2 (Win): I think Argus This was a bit of a blur and I don’t recall much. I just remember looking at the time after being decked as corp and seeing less than 20 mins. Played fast, deck did its thing, got the win with a little time to spare.

Round 3 (Loss): The Outfit Found all of my programs and hardware but no econ. FoundProCo the turn before my opponent scored out. Had to forfeit a fan site to Shadow Net for Dirty Laundry to attempt to contest the remote at the end of the game. Rough!

Round 4 (Win): Mti Another terrible start and they got out to five points with a Nisei counter quickly. Eventually I found ProCo and a bit of income. They turfed the Nisei counter to stop a Hot Pursuit and keep me in the dirt. Just as in my corp game with this opponent, there was terrible corp draw in the middle that turned a sure thing into a loss. I got an Atman 5 and Datasucker down and rode them to victory.

Round 5 (Loss): Scorp I was totally blindsided by the craziness and had a heap of fun. Made a play error of not forfeiting a Hostile Takeover to Shadow Net after seeing a Trojan Horse a couple of cards down in RND. When they got to 5 points I saw all cards in HQ with Turning Wheel knowing they had audacity. Picked up an Oaktown. They top deck Atlas and win.
