Simple Intentions v1.1

paddosan 3413

Fast Advance deck with NEXT Design, updated from the original Creation & Control version, with cards from the first 2 Data Packs of the Spin Cycle.

Economy is always an issue with this deck, so I added a couple Melange Mining Corp. Since many turns will be spent gathering credits, better have one of the most efficient means to do that.

Swordsman is the "solution" against Atman, which proved to be a nightmare for this deck. Also varied quite a lot the strenght of the available ICE, even if the cost has gone up a notch or two.

26 piece of ICE means you'll basically always get at least 2 ICE in your opening hand, and the percentage of getting 3 pieces (including the possible mulligan) should be around 80%.

The goal, as always, would be to score a 3/2 Agenda on turn two, without Biotic Labor, to put a lot of pressure on the Runner.

I want to tweak this deck tonight. I think it will benefit a lot from minelayer. A minelayer means the next run is deeper with this many ice. It saves you the click and increasing install cost of deep servers so you have more creds to actually rez what you install. I think -1 Viktor 1.0, -1 enigma, and -1 bastion for +3 minelayer will strengthen this deck. I'm basing this on a deep server concept for R&D and HQ with a few ice for archives if necessary. If I'm missing anything, let me know. Thanks. Oh. I would also drop -2 beanstalk royalties for +1 neural katana and +1 melange. I would drop the last enigma, a wall of static, and an Ichi 2.0 for 3 Haas arcology AI. Drop the HAAI and advance twice. The runner either ignores it giving you a reusable biotic labor or burns money getting to, and trashing, it. As always...these are my ideas simply meant to offer another point of view from my style of play. Thanks.J

If you look at the previous version, you'll notice it had 3 copies of Minelayer, but unfortunately it proved utterly useless and after a lot of testing I decided to remove it entirely. Being a Code Gate it's quite bad, it should really have been a Trap, otherwise the Runner won't let you use it. It's always bad for them, to have one more ICE installed in the outermost layer. I managed to actually use it so few times that I simply found it wasn't worth it.

+1 Neural Katana and +1 Melange for -2 Beanstalk Royalties could be a good change, I'll have to test it out. I used Haas Archology AI while testing different versions of this deck and it works, sometimes, but with Jackson Howard might be better to just recycle the Biotic Labor(s)... the use cost is the basically same.

Thanks for the input J!
