Gwarmageddon 3

This is the corp deck I just played at Cancon GNK, losing out on second overall from strength of schedule and being a crappy player. It comes from the same stable as some of the local Biotech disgrace (Mr_Console's J is for Jerk and Jintkei and Crowball's as-yet-unpublished Biotech) but plays better out of Harmony.

Laugh in the face of your opponent as their game plan rolls backwards while you cruise to victory. The deck relies on going fast, advancing cards and forcing the runner to run early when it's not in their best interest.

Low agenda density with 3 x Snare!, 3 x Breached Dome and Cyberdex withstands the deepest digs. Laughs in the face of both Interdiction and Employee Strike.

The plan is pretty straightforward:

1) Ice up HQ/RnD

2) Money up to maintain a credible Snare!/ice threat

3) Mushin some traps down to use as fodder for Otoroshi and Hangeki

4) Keep the runner unsure and advance out your Obokatas.

Main cards to note are:

Otoroshi - great low cost, high strength ice. Face checking is either a 3-cred tax each time (or free advancement on Obokata if they're under 4 cards in hand). Fits beautifully with Ben Musashi - also lets you place agenda counters, meaning do it on any card to confuse the runner.

Jua - I hate this ice when I run. It slows the runner down so early. Maxx and bin breakers cry.

Lockdown - can create a scoring/kill window for you

Kakugo - standard PITA to protect Obokata or RnD

Mushin - use it on whatever, pre-rez traps vs crim and stop them using Falsified Creds or Drive-By. The runner will be too scared to run - one runner wouldn't run a Ben Musashi with three counters, and then spazzed out when I advanced the other card in the server.

Hangeki - disgraceful abuse for this ID. Means the runner has to score an extra agenda on top of the two they'd normally have to. Can just force a careless flatline if they think you're bluffing. Great following Mushin/Otoroshi.

Celebrity Gift - show them everything, agendas and all. Or save one card to taunt them.

Red Planet Couriers - had 4 inf left over. Tell me something better to slot, please.

So I never published a deck before since I started building 5 years ago, because they've ways been so, so bad (Jinteki fast advance...HB brain damage recycle...NBN click control...all fail). This one doesn't seem so bad. Not 100% I'd leave RPC in, and the Cyberdex didn't fire once. Against the couple of virus decks I saw Reverse Infection may play better.

I'd like to thank Mr_Console for the full 3 minute AP mid-game giving me a much needed rest from thinking.

Thanks, and GFY.

The Musashi with counters and then advancing another card in the server was genius play. Really messed with my head.
