Yeah because so many people are running HHN, and when you play Mining Accident you often provide them with the opportunity for it, I found (they just take the bad pub)

@Skandrino if they do take the bad pub, the Conspiracy Breakers player is happy, as they're expensive to break, like, anything... And you're playing Comet. Why Comet? One thing possible here would be a single Day Job that is so sweet to follow up with a run event once you've got the Comet down.

Comet because of Exclusive Parties. You're right that one Day Job (normally too inflexible) could be nice with it as you could still get to do a run with Dirty Laundry or Stimhack. Wouldn't know what to cut though, what do you think? Same for Mining Accident. And of course it's nice if they take a bad pub but not if your spending on a central+mining permits them to HHN you

You could actually cut one or more Earthrise since the deck has so much draw that it's not uncommon to burn through everything. There are also cards like Ice Carver or Datasucker (for before you have full rig+Stargate) to consider if you face a lot of Mausolus or other anti-conspiracy ice. But slots are always an issue even in a 50-card deck (esp with exclusive parties).

I tried more radical approach and my Eventful Val is: -3 Earthrise, -2 Daily Casts, -3 Career Fair (as a result), -1 Hacktivist Meeting (hard to find anyway and hope to steal from Stargate trash if they play a current), +3 Mining Accident, +3 Deuces Wild (helps with tags), +3 Day Job (that is too much but just for the sake of testing). This makes 30 events for Comet, pretty good draw and the installables are the bare minimum. Untested but also should run nicely.

Cool, might try that as well! You could actually scrap all resources except 2x each of TTW, Trickster Taka and (added) Mystic Maemi.

Playtesting I also found that Datasucker makes breaking with the conspiracy suite so much more efficient, it feels worth it to drop Stargate and use TTW as wincon instead, especially now that you'll be running even more because of the Mining Accidents.
