Tax Master Tennin

chipacabras 8

A Tennin deck that focuses on taxing the runner in both clicks and credits.

In this version, I replaced Tsurugi with Susanoo-No-Mikoto. I leave archives open with the threat of Shock!. Even if archives isn't trapped, runners will often waste a click running archives and not accessing to deny the credit. If they don't run, they're punished with Subliminal Messaging and the identity's ability. I tend to used the free counter on a piece of ice, but it can also be great to over advance Braintrust to make the rest of the game easier.

Asset Based Economy options like PAD Campaign and Mental Health Clinic bring in a slow trickle of money with a decent trash cost and can be protected with Pup later in the game as an extra disincentive for a trash happy runner.

Ash 2X3ZB9CY and Caprice Nisei are both there to make the runner run though a large stack of painful ice again.

As for the ice, ideally you'll plant the Ice Walls, Hadrian's Walls and Susanoo-No-Mikoto at the base of your ice towers with the other ice going on top. In reality though, it usually works best to put a Komainu on each central server with chum or pup on top. I usually save the hard end the run ice for my scoring remote. Inazuma has probably done the least for me, but can go above an Ice Wall, Hadrian's Wall, or Susanoo-No-Mikoto to increase the tax on the runner.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions for tweaks and let me know if it runs alright for you!

I think that your deck hasn't enogh Ice. It is highly Dependend from assets. Every asset without any protection will block your Idendity each turn for just one click. I think you should focus on money with operations and only up to one external Server. Neotokyo Grid would work well with with that. With your idendity you should focus on mind games. Turn 1 Place a card on an external server. If the runner makes a successful run, you could place an advancement token on it. That means, that you could advance shocks. But is it a shock or a NAPD contract...
