Bam! Headshot v2.1

Okay, Whizzard's ability was cool, nuking several Jacksons, Adonises and PADs throughout the evening.

The deck itself had some flow issues. It really, really needed that third Djinn and Deja Vu; the first game I won because I got Djinn down, the rest I lost because I didn't have Djinn and was caught between playing breakers and playing viruses, and couldn't do both.

Pheromones is a beast of a card; it was an absolute workhorse. Love it. Doppelganger never got used. I've swapped it for Spinal Modem; two recurring credits are always helpful.

The Vamps were of no use. I was trying to run all the time, so I never had the spare money, even with Pheromones. Of course, a large part of that was the sheer amount of Jinteki taxing ice, but still.

Hemorrhage was good, but I think I could have achieved the same effect with Imp, tbh, in a more temporary but less click-intensive manner. As I was playing, Hemorrhage struck me as 'win-more'. If I was making enough successful runs per turn for it to count, then I should probably be winning anyway!

I pulled off the Demo Run with Nerve agent. That was pretty glorious. He spent a whole turn purging viruses, and then another turn getting his hand back. I think I need some Same Old Things in here, so that I can recur Demo Run and Deja Vu.

The main problem with the deck as a whole was that by relying on Pheremones and suchlike, I needed to be running HQ all the time. I struggled when people set up chunky, empty remotes, and then just played an agenda into it as soon as they drew one. It made the game incredibly slow. An alternative might be to make the deck better at running remotes so that agendas build up in hand, and then running HQ. Pheromones would be less use there, though, although Hemmorhage would come back into its strength. Remote running would also play into Whizzard's strength of trashing things.

God that a-lot of programs, You really dependent on getting Djinn or you done for. I wonder if running logos would help get the cards you need...

@lemonwood A lot of them are only transient, like Parasite and Imp, but yes, I have too many, and yes, I have found that I really need Djinn. As it stands, this deck needs a fair bit of work; it's trying to attack HQ, but get enough breakers to run remotes, and trash cards and ice... It just clunks along and sometimes wins. Too much stuff going on.

I sometimes get like this when deckbuilding; I add all the bells and whistles before testing the core concept. I need to take it back down to basics and work up. It doesn't help that I'm least comfortable running Anarch, either, but you've got to step out of your comfort zone if you want to improve!

I've just started working on a Whizzard deck with a similar idea --> Nerve Agent + Sneakdoor - and this definitely provides some ideas!

With Lotus Field likely to be prevalent do you plan on going to Gordian Blade or keeping Cyber-Cypher only and focusing only on that server?
