Meat Damage

No matter what you do, you're taking meat damage. Thats the goal here. Seeing if I can make the Data Raven / Dedicated Response Team 'combo' work out.

Levy! (I know right) Its here to get Data Raven. Mulligan for it or a raven (probably). Best case you can grab two ravens with it, but even just getting one before they trash is fine. Think of it like a double that tutors for ice.

Interns keeps Dedicated in play as much as possible.

I picture a slow game where the threat of dmg and the dmg itself keeps the runner a at slow pace. Hopefully you're able to snipe important rig pieces either through destroyers or dmg. The threat of scorched should also force them to clear tags and a surprise snare can set up a win (or at least a plascrete-clearing turn).

I think the concept is solid, if a little expected (which doesn't mean it won't work). I would point out that Dedicated Response Team only triggers on a successful run, so you'll have to entice the runner to take the Data Raven tag and keep going.

I like the addition of Snare as a surprise tagging option. Catching a Snare on click 3 or four + Private Security Force could end the game immediately.

You might want to reconsider the Grims and Hostile takeover, the bad pub is going to give the runner credits that they can use to beat the trace. You also might want to look at more ETR ice.

@Castings Agreed that the bad pub makes me nervous .. but I'm not sure how to sneak in more econ/destruction otherwise. It may be that grim is overkill and another ice would have more utility. Without hostile its hard to envision running Archer .. so in general I'd have to rework quite a bit if my goal is to remove all bad pub. Definitely some food for thought.

As far as forcing successful runs .. they will have to do that to win .. but if everytime they do that they nab an agenda (from the remote), then the deck will be just as easy to beat as old net damage decks were. So, you're right that it might be worth considering things that force more runs (or bad decisions anyhow) .. such as asset econ.

@Castings A stab at v2 is here netrunnerdb.com

Removes the destruction threat and bad pub in exchange for subliminal (maybe force more runs) and chimera.

Econ still feels thin.
