"Good Guy" Weyland 1.1

So I’ve learned in the past that I’m not really all that good with Weyland. I’d typically have a good start, getting 4-5 points was common, but then the runner would come back and just utterly shut me down thanks in no small part to the BP I’ve accumulated.

So one day after having played HB for a while I thought I’d take a crack at a “good guy” Weyland – i.e. a Weyland without BP. And it worked better than I though it would so I though I’d post it up for comment.

Regardless of the whole no BP thing this play like a standard Weyland, rush while you can, then use a combination of Power Shutdown and NADP Contract to force timing windows you can exploit to finish out the game. In the ideal scenario you’d score either an over scored Atlas or a Cleaners in the Rush phase so you can threaten Scorch to slow people down.

Probably the biggest “issue” this deck has is that it doesn’t have an ID that really supports it, but I think with a few tweaks this could be a competitive Blue Sun deck.

Final note, when upstalk comes out you should swap something for The Root, it should be great in this deck.
