Shape of a Criminal v5.0

Lots of thanks to ImTheBanker for making me realize that I don't necessarily need Diesel to "speed" my progress along, heh. Recursion, good drip econ, and extra anti-Corp econ can also "do a body good"! Done a bit of streamlining as well to my original deck idea, so here it is! Feedback welcome. :)

I experimented with a similar deck a lot. Here is what I noticed. Sil is really good if you are able to run often. That's how you get your expose effects. The more expensive it becomes to run, the less frequent you can run, the less you benefit from the ability.

With this kind of minimal breaker suite, you can't run often. And even if you expose some troublesome unrezed ice, you have just one way to deal with it anyway.

The first breaker you want to out on order to run safely is the most expensive one: Garrote. it will take some time to get out Garrote AND recover from the financial hit to be able to actually use it. I found that by the time I had my rig up and running, it was late. And even if I had the rig, I would run out of juice quickly because I had to pay myself through every ice. Tollbooths on HQ would ruin the game for me.

My advice: beef up the breaker suite for more efficient running. Thanks to you expose you can then get the right tool for the job. First step would be to add Faeries so you can run early without Garrote. Think about bringing back Femme to skip inconvenient ice. Maybe even Datasucker + Parasite. Security testing works also quite well with Sil. You can use the expose to scout out secure servers to put the Testing on.

Good luck!

I understand your train of thought completely. :)

I'm going to give this deck a real try in the next couple of weeks...and if it fails to deliver because of the reasons you mentioned, then I will surely have to consider changing some things around, including Blackguard removal (which I DON'T want to do, cuz damnit, she's holding the thing in the card picutre...it's HERS...she shouldn't be deprived of using it).
