At first glance, one would think that Tao with Gamedragon Pro would be an unstoppable monster, but with Runner money cut across the board, breaking Ice more difficult for Shaper. So what does Tao do? Build a giant Shaper RIG even HARDER!

Tao with the Hermes console is obviously powerful. It buys the Runner time as the Corp scores the very popular cheap agendas going around right now. Gamedragon Pro gives Runners the ability to pierce stacked ICE of the same type, but Tao has the power to not only punish unrezzed cards upon storing, but line up ICE by types so that one Icebreaker attached to Gamedragon Pro can power through any servers. Close your eyes and picture a 10 Strength Pressure Spike chewing through three Barriers!

But even if that were all true, it would hinge on sitting back and letting Corps build and score their greedy 3/1s and Greenmails before Tao can build a perfect RIG while lining up ICE just the way he wants to.

Which is where Chromatophores come in. Can't line up Barriers, Code Gates and Sentries into servers? Force them to be whatever you want! Place a Chromatophores on that odd ICE out! See an HQ with a Sentry and a Code Gate but all you have is a Killer? Make the Code gate a killer? Have a Pressure Spike at Threat 4 ready to burst down a server

Possible cuts and additions: T400 Memory Diamond: With no room for Madani and kill crazy Corps, this is my personel tech card. As you draw via ritual, its okay to let redundant hardware fall into the Heap. And you can always pull Chromatophores back via Muse. But there are only two recursion tools for emergencies: Ashen Epilogue and Harmony AR Therapy. Losing both puts you on a time limit. But if you're feeling confident, you can always ditch the diamond.

Maglectric Rapid (748 Mod): Corps have been greedy lately, sitting on a tremendous amount of credits for big rezzes and kill combos. This is a hard punish.

Hush: Tax ICE, especially Mestnichestvo is devastating to an already credit-parched Shaper. Swap some influence out for some old school videogame Silence and shut that ICE up. Note that this does not change the ICE's type like Chromatophores would.

Urban Art Vernissage: This is my pretty recent experiment and have not thoroughly tested it yet. It would let runners pull back and reinstall Chromatophores based on Corp activity on remote servers (or lack of activity.)

SAVE SHAPER! Weakness? Probably shell games and fast advance.

Speculations: Chromatophores is a trojan. Could Arissana run Hermes and Gamedragon Pro?
