NBN: Big Brother is a Bully

Tag n' Bag, or Midseason-Psycho-Beale to victory! The deck is designed to put the tools in the Corp's hand for two very solid win conditions. ICE that tags can work as effectively as an ETR to keep the Runner out, which is good because there is very little ETR. This deck works by sitting as a bystander and letting the Runner step into their own noose, either carrying early tags or giving the the Corp time to get the needed cards in hand.

This was my first NBN deck, and it was originally meant to just have Scorched Earth as an off-hand splash. When it turned into a steady source of wins, I made more accommodations for it, while still leaving a Psychographics combo available.

-What better ways can I build economy?

-Data Raven, one of my favorite ICE, or the much more efficient tracer Hunter?

-I've only won from points 2/9 times; could I ditch that condition and go all in for Tag n' Bag?

  • "What better ways can I build economy?" Not sure, atm.

  • "Data Raven... or... Hunter? Since this is not a rush deck, Data Raven makes a lot more sense. Both have a trace3, both are a strength 4 sentry, but DR has an automatic tag if the runner continues. After 2 runs, DR has paid for itself in runner tax. I suppose Hunter does give you a better chance at tagging the runner before he has a killer out, but will you be ready to take advantage of that so early in the game?

  • "...go all in for Tag n' Bag?" Depends if you are playing against random opponents, or against a familiar meta. Once your meta knows there's no scoring condition, you'll be in trouble.

apocrita: Thanks for the input! I'm pretty happy to hear that it's halfway-solid. Your comment about the meta is definitely relevant. Mostly it's random peeps, but I'm still looking for ways to push this deck in one direction or the other if it gets built around too much. I feel pretty confident that the deck is flexible enough.
