Two more turns

Diogene 4892

Get two more turns worth of installs, hopefully getting the upper hand by virtue of speed.

Game plan : spam the board, do core damage and score out fast.

Mulligan plan : maximum two agendas in hand and at least one card that will give you economy next turn. We want to install things on the board.

This is an iteration on Poetic Justice.

This deck tries to be "vegan" and not go for the combo kill.

This is asset spam in its full form. We put 2 to 4 cards on the board every turn that we do not score.

While not trying to max out Poetri triggers, we get to a healthy 74%. So, most of agenda steals or scores will trigger our ID. Because Nightmare Archive slows the runner quite a bit, we will usually get 6 to 8 triggers per game. THAT IS TWO TURNS WORTH OF INSTALLS!

Our worst matchup is Azimat. Most of cards need 3 or 4 credits to trash just so that I may tax Azimat players. Otherwise, in the previous deck, the player could easily trash two cards on the board per turn and not feel taxed at all.

This is the reason for Svyatogor Excavator. We trash our own board (used up Regolith Mining License and Nightmare Archive are best for that) to the tune of 3 a turn. Yes, even trashing our ice is legit, if it allows us to score.

This deck can score out at turn 8 or hold out to turn 16, if the runner is able to trash nearly everything on the board.

But we stand a chance even in those cases. This is the reason for Nanomanagement instead of Bass CH1R180G4. So that we may have a chance.

The hardest to score is Salvo Testing. This is where you will need a combination of Nanomanagement, Moon Pool and Wage Workers to score it. Usually costing around 12 to 15, +4 if you go for the double combo with Djupstad Grid.

Djupstad Grid is there for the first and second core damage, usually with Élivágar Bifurcation.

This is a fun deck!

There is more

This deck also work, with the exact same list, with Thule Subsea: Safety Below. You install less cards, but you tax the runner credits and clicks more, with a synergy for our base strategy of core damage. It will feel slower though.

Also, this works well with Haas-Bioroid: Precision Design. Here are the changes :

The ID let us better hide agendas in HQ and has a recursion ability, which is very useful.

Which ID is better for the archetype? Depends on the style of gameplay you wish for. PD is more safe (probably better also), Thule is more taxing and Poetri goes faster (possibly decking themselves). I prefers Poetri.

Enjoy!
