This deck is utilizing the Eureka!/Motivation/Oracle May interactions as well as Test Run/Scavenge to sneak in the large breakers. It is also utilizing Dinosaurus and Leprechaun to host out MU hungry rig. Once up and running the rig should be able to handle most ICE except for the very large barriers, so I would save those datasucker tokens if you suspect those.

Sharpshooter allow us to not fear Archers and Ichis when waiting for Garrote. We do have Clone Chips, Scavenge and LALA just in case. Workshop to dump money onto when the corp decides to rez things. Cloak and Fall Guy to give us money mid run. Fall guy also helps when you are a little short for stealing that Fetal or NAPD.

Some ideal combos are:

  • Test Run and then self Scavenge to keep.
  • Motivation and Oracle May for a draw and two creds for a click.
  • Motivation and Eureka! to sneak in large breakers.
  • Test Run and then Eureka! the next turn when it is on top of your stack.

Notable omissions:

Self-modifying Code - With these expensive breakers there is really not much oportunity to use SMC.

The Toolbox - For what I need (the MU and 2 ice credits), Dino does a similar thing for less of an install cost.

Femme Fatale - Torch clears a tollboth for 5 credits which I find acceptable.

Plascrete Carapace - Omitted only because I don't see a lot of SEAScorch right now in my meta.

Ever consider Dirty Laundry over Sure Gamble? With Nasir, I feel you tend to start and end your runs on hair-thin budgets, and Dirty Laundry leaves you with 5 credits AFTER the run, which can be handy!

I also personally feel that The Toolbox is practically his console, and would consider running it over Dino - But that's just me! I don't like having to wait to get Dino before getting my full rig out, personally, as I find it can truly, deeply, utterly screw you. I also feel 3-of lep is overkill, and would be better served with 1-of with 2-of SMC. Yes, costs 2 extra to summon a lep, but you're nasir, and may end up losing credits randomly anyways, so who cares?

I personally do think Diesel is too good of a card not to have in a Shaper deck.

Finally, 1-of LALA pretty much demands 1of Same Old Thing, to avoid it getting sniped by net damage (The matchup that LALA can help you the most, no less!) Otherwise, I just wouldn't bother including it, personally.

Just my thoughts!

@AesynilAfter more testing I agree with most of your points. Although it feels like blasphemy to leave out SGs, I really like dirty laundry in this deck. Whenever I have been able to SG it has really been overkill and Dirty Laundry is a good way to port my money to the next click.

Toolbox is certainly good but I get a lot of mileage out of Dino+Morning Star, as my local meta plays a lot of big ice. I pretty much wrote off SMC, as my most needed programs are so costly but 1 lep and 2 SMC might work. I will test that out.

Of course I like diesel, but I have not made the cuts yet. I think that the math works out to cut a few of the 3ofs for those.

I have found myself wishing for SOT also when I have a test run in the heap.

Thanks for the response.
