Moonbase Alpha

Razorback 1

First attempt at utilizing the "Heinlein Grid - Lag Time" fork combo. Seems to be a fair all-rounder for Stronger Together but there is no doubt room for focus and refinement.

Critique and suggestions are welcome, but the deck will focus around using Stronger Together, Heinlein Grid and Lag Time. Everything else is fair game.

The influence expenditure is low - frankly because HB has too many fun toys to play with. I had wanted bigger glacial ICE like Tollbooth to complement the Priority Requisitions (there were three initially) but i think it became a little harder to balance. I also toyed with with amping up the taxing angle with Midway Station Grid, seemingly a nice fit with bioroids. Thoughts?

I agree that Midway Station Grid would be great to include. Eli just got more annoying, and Silvers get sillier too. I'm not sure what you drop for it though, really. Maybe drop the 2 sleepers? I understand their utility, though, so that's hard to do. MAYBE the Successful Demo's? That's a really nice econ card though.

I think I would try dropping a Project Wotan for Eden Fragment, because that really helps offset the costs of installing in glacier decks.

I would also be tempted to get 3 Mother Goddess as well, for their interaction with Next ice.

I just recently saw a video of a tournament where someone ran something like this, and I hadn't thought of the Mother/Next/Stronger (Bioroid) combo before, having just recently gotten Mother and not yet having Next Bronze. I headed here to look for other decks using those cards, and found this one. I like the looks of it a lot. How has it fared?

I just saw another deck using Mushin No Shin, and another using Celebrity Gift. Those might be good replacements for Successful Demonstration, maybe. They are a different kind of economy, and your influence would allow either one. Another one might be just using Beanstalk Royalties, which doesn't net you as much, but you can play anytime (as opposed to waiting for an unsuccessful run with Successful Demo).

Another excellent addition is Red Herrings, but again, what do you cut? So many good cards, so little deck space. :)
