A deck made by someone not popular and who didn't won a tour

Exo 355

Full name: A deck made by someone not popular and who didn't won a tournament but still find his idea is good enough to share (AKA The Impossible Fortress).

Now that I got your attention, here is the idea I wanted to share which mainly revolve around: Caprice Nisei + Off The Grid + Crisium Grid + Advancable ICE.

Yeah that's right, It's all about creating a gigantic HQ server protected by Caprice/Crisium and going for the long run.

I came to this idea because I was trying to make the best use of the BwBi ID and it's really difficult to protect multiple server while advancing ICE each turn to make them worthy.

A big part of the idea is to focus on Barrier. Mainly because most of the best advancing ICE is Barrier. A good synergy to point out is Hive and Superior Cyberwalls. The only agenda that won't hurt its taxing ability.

Still, Hive should be mainly for R&D, or a least one of them, and here's why: By the time you start scoring agenda on a OtG remote, your hands should have plenty of agenda. So R&D will start to matters less.

A early remote is favorable if you have scoring window. Even more if it's to score Superior Cyberwalls to generate money and taxing power.

The deck is in a primitive form right now but still the core idea is interesting and really hard to stop when triggered.

I put the deck down so people can bring thought about it or start developing new idea.

So, what do you think guys?

I think you should drop the Caprice to add more ice. 15 ice is very light for a glacier deck. A few parasites / femmes would destroy your defenses.

I think you need a little more ICE 2 but mainly because you have Hive which is a situational ICE like Chum. I run a HB deck that has only 16 ICE in it and found that i struggled alot when i was running Inazuma's soon as i replaced them though with something non situational the deck was fine.

I suppose at least Hive is late game situational so it may work. I like the idea of Off the grid and Crisium Grid nice synergy.

@Alsciende I think removing maybe 1 Caprice couldn't hurt the deck but Caprice act even better than what Crisium Grid do as it end the run so there is no access to the cards I have in hand, which I can see it really crucial because mid-late game your hand will be full of agenda.

  • Caprice is better to stop Sneakdoor Beta which is a big weakness for the deck.

@Pinkwarrior You mean Wendigo?

Yeah maybe more ICE is really the way to go, what do you think about that guys?

-1x Caprice -3x SfK +3x Eli 1.0 +1x Targeted Marketing (mostly for Corroder).
