Chaos Theory's Toolbox of Shenanigans. (Malaysian Nationals

TeacupGiraffe 137

So what am i looking at?

Hit fast and hit hard with burst econ from sure gambles and dirty laundry but with enough sustainability to last late game should it drag out that far using magnum opus and toolbox. Basically a more streamlined version from an old professor deck i played way back when.

Influence spent on...?

Account Siphon. The reigning king from the criminal fraction. Quick cash to abuse and has the added bonus of adding insult to injury via 5 credit drain.

Legwork. The The Maker's Eye of the blue fraction, incredibly useful and this deck's only HQ pressure tool.

Planned Assault. The tutor for run events. Need a legwork or indexing? No worries. Planned assault has you covered.

Femme Fatale. Sentry breaker with the benefits of being able to bypass giant monsters.

Corroder. By far the best barrier breaker in the game(in my humble opinion).

Parasite. Eats up pop up windows and quandries for breakfast and removes all potential problems given enough time.

Hardware.

Clone Chip. to recur all your gimmicks, tricks and disposable programs. Has the added benefit of maybe bringing back your breakers after you get screwed seven ways to sunday by an ichi or grim.

R&D Interface. You draw one more card from R&D, what's not to love?

The Toolbox. A monster of a console, giving you recurring credits for your runs, additional memory and some link.

Programs and breakers.

Gordian Blade. Solid mid-range code gate breaker, the price is just right compared to it's bigger cousin Torch and with a greater base strength compared to ZU.13 Key Master.

Sharpshooter and Deus X. Keeping your precious programs safe and your beautiful brain in one piece from net damage. Choke on it jinteki.

Magnum Opus. Because only peasants(Anarchs) and dirty thieves(criminals) gain a single credit per click. #Shaper4lyfe.

Self-modifying Code. There is a fine line between being prepared and paranoid. This beautiful flower has saved my bacon from a countless number of snares and rototurrets.

Resources and events.

Same Old Thing. There is never enough of a good thing, even leaving the thing there alone as a potential threat would make the corp weary.

Diesel and Quality Time. *look at the entry about Magnum Opus but replace [credit] with [card draw].

Sure Gamble Burst econ. Never enough but we'll have to settle for 3.

Dirty Laundry. Gain credits or run. Whynotboth.jpg

Indexing. Avoid snares, deny potential ice/assets, plan around ambushes and traps, flood HQ with agendas for that future Legwork. The applications are almost limitless with little to no downsides.

Test Run. Tutor for programs which can be used for disposable stuff from the heap, or you can bring out Femme Fatale for a shaper version of Inside Job.

Levy AR Lab Access. AND NOW YOU BRING EVERYTHING BACK FOR AN ENCORE.

Anything i would replace or improve?

Stimhack and Vamp could replace Account Siphon being lower influence means more copies if consistency is an issue.

Originally the deck favored Daily Casts over Dirty Laundry for the long term investment but due to speed being an issue versus fast advance it was changed.

a 3rd copy of Self-modifying Code and maybe a second Parasite just to shutdown tiny annoying ice.

This is one of the best write-ups I've ever seen on a deck. Bravo just for that.

Agreed, really nice write-up. You can format your headlines with a leading ## instead.
