Flipping back to 46 (1st Philippines Megacity Championships

Flip Switch did nothing on the day, I discarded it almost all of my games. This is pretty much the same Reg deck i've been playing for the past couple events.

Tournament Report

Swiss

Round 2 - @Snack on Thule

This game is a good matchup for Sable and I know I have to control the board to stay on top. I draw into early econ and contest each remote as fast as I can. Eventually the agendas pile up into HQ and I steal a couple for the win. - Win

Round 3 - @Smolgrump on Nuvem

I know Sable is supposed to have a good matchup into Nuvem, but that doesn't make it easy for me. We both score/steal an early Basalt but proceed to not score anything for the rest of the game. Time is called and I have to make a hail mary dig with Twinning on R&D. Thankfully there's a 3/2 and I win on time. - Win

Top Cut

Rematch - Round 3 @Smolgrump on Nuvem

I set up my board but also have limited econ this game as I contest a turn 1 Basalt on remote with Curupira.

I aggressively draw for econ, throwing away Bahias and Pinholes, and slowly setup my board with Open Market and Maemi. Twinning goes down soon as well and I charge it up slowly. I'm eventually ready to pressure and run centrals. A Transfer of Wealth + Twinning run gets me two agendas on HQ, including a bounce and I learn that @smolgrump is flooded. - Win

vs @CyberspacePanda AU Co

I feel this is a particularly scary matchup but I'm tech-ed for this with Airblades and double breakers. I slap down airblades early on and control the board with run events as soon as I can, and clicking for credits whenever the corp doesn't push cards scoring a couple of early agendas.

Eventually we go to 4 points after some R&D digs and I need to keep my hand and credits up to avoid the Measured Response. @CyberspacePanda does an IAA in a remote and I push for centrals instead of contesting it, stealing a Fuji for the win. - Win

Deck Flipping back to 46 is an effective runner build, making full use of the Nyusha Reg engine, Flexible in handling different situations from mirror, control corp, Geometry Vibes to hurry remote. Stable and flexible playing style, suitable for Megacity 2025 meta.
