Deck valid after Seventh Rotation |
The deck went 1-2 at EMEA Online Megacity, on 2025-06-28. It got me to 28th position, out of 36 players.
Round 1, auto loss. Eventbrite lied and told me the tournament started at 5 am, my time. Daylight saving time should not exist and Eventbrite is to blame anyway.
Round 3, loss vs xiaat on AU Co.: The Gold Standard in Clones. I got to 6 points, but I could not outspeed xiaat who score out on turn 8. Well played!
Round 4, win vs siupergirl on Nuvem SA: Law of the Land. I got lucky in my sabotage and I was able to find the winning agendas on turn 7 in archive. Good game.
Round 6, loss vs Cyrcle on BANGUN: When Disaster Strikes with Phật Gioan Baotixita. I after I scored to 5 points, Azef Protocol into a freshly installed Phật Gioan Baotixita after a False Lead used sealed my fate. Well done!
Game plan : Sabotage the corp to the ground.
Mulligan plan : Marrow, Cacophony, Mystic Maemi.
This is totally inspired by Paillu's deck.
Thanks to Meleas, from my local meta, who played games late the day before against this deck. I discovered there that I needed a Buffer Drive after all.
After testing Paillu deck (I am an Esa fan), I found it fun and wanted to play it more. I tried some iteration with Ghosttongue and other things. I came to 4 conclusions :
If the game goes long, it is possible to do massive amount of sabotage. Best I've done is 33! Thus decking the corp.
The deck goes well and could have won every game. It came down to the wire for every loss. No disappointment whatsoever and every game was fun and tense.
Thanks to aksu for organizing and judging the event, and a big shoutout to all players, it was a blast!

If you want to be mischievous, you could include Tread Lightly. With Tsakhia "Bankhar" Gantulga, it punishes the corp quite a lot. But draw and credits are more important I think. The steady sabotage done is really punishing for the corp. Which is why ice are less of a problem than I expected. As a fan of Esa myself, I hope this (or any iteration thereof) deck will give you has much joy as it has given me. Cheers! |
Awesome! I've been looking at tinkering with this myself, also dropping Ashen and Bahia and looking at what to do with the inf. Did you miss the Pinholes at all?
