Hyperspeed Nebula (5-1 @ Reading)

Sokka 6313

I went 3-0 and The King went 2-1 with this in Reading (tourney link at the bottom)

This deck is probably busted. I don’t feel as strongly about it as I do about needing to ban Deep Dive. Maybe runners can just deal with it and it’s fine. It feels like the deck is very dependent on what you draw. See my comment in the Sable about rolling a loaded die.

Is KPI in this deck because it helps the overall game plan or because you happen to know the guy on the card :) ?

@Dave976 it’s good in the deck! Can fast advance a 3/2 or 3/1 when flipped. Can help you stack ice on centrals. Is also useful for shuffling an agenda back. I’ve used it for all of these things equally frequently.

How come you invest in tags so much in this deck? All I see is the Piranhas and the Predictive and F2P. My guess is the Piranhas is hard to use the tag for since draw order is a thing. So is the Rashida Predictive that good here then? Or is making them install their Killer that big of a deal?

@TheRobin There’s also the basic action ability where the corp can trash resources. My initial understanding of building a runner deck in this cardpool is that being able to trash resources will sufficiently hurt most runners. Piranhas caring about tags is definitely whatever. F2P tag text is fine but also whatever. Plano tag text is very relevant.

So yeah a runner without resources they care about can very much run past Funhouses.

When decklists are unknown tho: maybe I have Bigger Picture (very easy to slot). Maybe I have End of the Line. Maybe I have something else.

Great shell for a deck. I think you nailed the agendas, even for the RLC and Moon versions of the deck. Gotta say, I'm not as hot on 3x Nano, but I've heard you won a pretty big tournament or two so maybe you've got the canonically correct version.

@SokkaAh, yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks :)
