Sending a Message - Brescia Megacity

Porkobolo 366

Howdy!

After facing the truth of not being able to join for the summer showdown i had to realize another harsh reality: i hated not being able to play corps that i liked because of one lil' p e r s o n a n o n g r a t a (Seb) and i wasn't able to control my rage.

So i built THIS out of spite.

This deck is made of anger and resentment. This deck is about SENDING A MESSAGE (even without slotting one).

They want to draw cards while [writing puns] (https://netrunnerdb.com/en/card/34069 "writing puns") about your mother? It's Retribution time.

They think they're safe with their friends chilling as nothing can hurt them, sparing some money removing tags only at the start of their turn? Trust me, they will regret this. They will watch me as i bash a whole fucking forest to their favourite friend, if i'm not bashing bigger things.

They will show their perfect smile and try to charm you into giving your launch money. Cockblock them, cockblock them again, and even if they understand pull out the biggest cockblock you can JUST TO MAKE A POINT.

They will try to show how subtle they are, show that they can learn your pattern and build everything again, WELL, you can PROACTIVELY go for their friend, don't be afraid to use your time and money to trash everything they have: they want to do the same to you!

At some point they will start showing some real respect, trying to stay away from you at least for the time to recover from your righteous fury. Well, there's no time to rest: continue to crush their stuff, over and over again.

This was does not end with a mere victory, either we bore them with our hate or we make so much fuzz that someone decide to put and end to this misery.

This deck can win against Seb (and it actually won against Baserton's Seb, that ended second). Can win against Crim. Will likely lose very badly against shaper.

Also could obviously be refined. If you want to play it seriously probably Transport Monopoly is better to Kimberly, but i wanted to laugh while making a point.

Italian Megacity was as good as the friends that came to it, i'm so happy to share some time with some old runners, some new one (it still has to register here on netrunnerdb!!) and one of my favourite person from afar, the bestest of judges: Harmonbee!

Special thanks to Koga, Cubelocko and SilentArbiter for designing and bringing their Cube, that is an incredible drafting experience (even if we have to cut some time from the drafting part).

Congratulation to BraveRising for winning, he deserved it and also made my day crushing a Seb in the final.

Last thank you goes to NSG, it's 2025 and i'm still loving Netrunner. Keep going (and don't let me face Seb at EMEA, thanks).
