🔥 [STARTUP] Deep Dive Sable (2022, up to Midnight Sun)

This was my list for the Seattle Startup Bash 8/6/22, along with a few thoughts:

• 🧠 Generally speaking, Deep Dive and Sable are a perfect match
• 🤷‍♂️ At the last minute, I cut my 1x The Twinning and 1x Mutual Favor for a 1x Into the Depths and 1x Backstitching. Into the Depths is a more click-compressed version of Mutual Favor, and has the potential to create even more value (and very easy to pull off anytime with Boomerang/Backstitching)
• 😅 I wish at the last minute I had instead included Unity. I forgot Engram Flush was such a big deal in Startup. The original thought was the Cat's Cradle is fine, costs the corp a few credits, and is 0 influence... But it breaks Engram Flush for 6 if you don't have Boomerang, and with Deep Dive, I simply can't let it fire
• 👍 I cut The Twinning because it provides marginal value in addition to setting up for Deep Dives. Not to mention, I must have a Cezve on the table and use it (so, not Boomerang/Backstitching for example)
• ✅ Cleaver over Corroder because other than Bran 1.0 and a charged Akhet, most of the common Barriers in Startup are 3 or less strength. If necessary, the plan was to just bypass/Boomerang big Barriers
• 🛑 1x Red Team... The card's not great, trust me, I know. I believe it provides enough value in Sable for making those Mark runs more-easily worth it and not eat up all the Run Events. But more specifically, I find that it helps round out the deck a bit more with having 3x Career Fairs already. IF THIS WASN'T STARTUP, it would just be a different econ card
