The Pragmatic Soul (top 4 Rockingham West Aus SC)

My latest edition of my good stuff style Leela deck. Went 3-1 during swiss (17 people), but I lost my only game with her in the top 4. Won against HB:ETF, Medtech and Spark. Losses were against Argus and rush-style Biotech

I teched pretty strongly against butchershop and HB, since they've both been pretty popular in my meta, and relied on criminal's innate strengths against fast advance to cover any NEH or Sync I came up against.

Film Critic + Data Dealer for all the yellow bullshit, and Atman 4 to cut through all the usual HB suspects. I ran 2x hostage to ensure I could get what connections I needed (replacing a Kati for the second one).

I've always had issues with Crim's steady econ against glacier decks, so the Daily Casts are in there to mitigate that. Add in the Earthrise for drip draw and a couple of career fair to smooth that out. I was actually never unhappy to see any of those cards all day, so I think they were a strong addition.

Overall I was really pleased with the deck's performance- both my losses on the day were due to raw player error when I made gambles that just didn't pay off. I think in the future I'd like to try and fit 2x datasucker in, replacing the Zu for a Peacock, and I'd probably cut one Hostage in there as well.

I like it, but at 2 Faerie, 2 Mongoose, and 1 Femme, I feel like you've got a LOT of Sentry options - it also makes me wonder about your MU if you try to bring in 2 Datasuckers - you're not going to be able to make use of all of these different breakers along side 2 MU of utility.

@vampire0 The Killer suite is mostly there for a bit of redundancy. Faeries are limited, but excellent for firing off key runs like a siphon, Mongoose is great but if they stack those sentries you're fucked (so having 2 out is great) and Femme is, well, for the clutch moments. In the end it's very situational, but I like having all the options to cover every possibility.

You're right about the MU problem if I add datasuckers. Ideally I'd only install 1 (2 because I can't tutor for it) and if a game goes long enough I'd probably end up with Corroder/Peacock/Femme/Atman/Datasucker installed as the late game rig.

Again, it's all very situational. I run a toolbox style breaker suite so that I can get whatever I need for any circumstance, basically.
