TWIY Scorch

Cranks out a fast scorch win, or forces out agendas with a high credit disparity. Triggers midseasons forcing the runner to float tags, then all you have to do is get enough bucks to scorch them. Scorches in 3-5 turns usually, has less agenda scoring power, but if you have a window to guard -> astro do it.

Cheap ice so you're not spending much that way, recur econ as much as possible, and rush out agendas to force the runner to make some tough choices. Draw very heavy early so that you find scorch, 44 cards is a good start to finding it. Will consider more econ options, but if you're rushing agendas, the runner should be fairly poor the whole time.

No sansan city? Nope. Will you be clicking for credits quite a bit? Probably.

Personally, I'd drop 3 pieces of ICE (probably the Rainbows, or one Guard and two Rainbows) and play 3x Shipment from SanSan as a pseudo-econ option.

I play a TWIY scorched deck and it is far more effective when you have Data Raven and Sea Source in there. Any decent runner with good econ can play around this fairly easy. Yea you occasionally catch someone who might run on last click with TGTBT. But a good runner knows about TGTBT. I have over 300 plays with my TWIY Scorched Deck and Data Raven is the MVP.

Just realized you posted the other NBN Midseasons deck and saw your response about Data Raven being risky. It really is phenomenal. It will stop indexing and account siphon more than you would think. Put 2 Data Ravens on HQ and 9 times out of 10 you will not be siphoned. If you are then they go tag me and hello Psychographics. Against Shaper if you get 2 Data Ravens on R and D then they start digging for Parasites or Femme while you are scoring agendas. There is the occasional game where you Midseasons them and then the Data Ravens are useless, but usually you win from Scorched or Psycho Beale before they can pull out the win.

Can you post the list and link it here? I'm curious to see it.

This deck basically runs taxing but cheap ice, then if they steal when they're low, use the midseasons and eventually draw all the scorches. 3 midseasons make it show up early enough that turn 4-5 scorches are a thing. It can easily fall back on pushing out astros the old fashioned way though if the runner wants to sit back and money up. The idea is to blitz out agendas if they try to avoid midseasons. I'd be curious to see how your ice spread helps out in scoring, and where you slot psycho.

If you don't want to post publicly, you can send it to my (junk) email: cheetosmomishot(at)gmail[dot]com

Barrier (2) 2x Wraparound (Fear and Loathing)

Code Gate (6) 1x Pop-up Window (Cyber Exodus) 1x Quandary (Double Time) 2x RSVP (True Colors) 2x Tollbooth (Core Set)

Sentry (4) 3x Data Raven (Core Set) 1x Flare (Future Proof)

12 influence spent (max 12) 20 agenda points (between 20 and 21) 49 cards (min 40)

So you will see only 12 ice and 49 cards and probably say "really?"

But you would be surprised how well a single data raven will protect a central while I am getting money and drawing into Midseasons or Scorched. Because of the max hand size there are plenty turns where I can sit back and just get 3 credits if I'm not playing one of the 7 money cards. I also recycle money cards quite a bit with Jackson. Originally this deck was really hard to win with Fast Advance when I was at 44 cards. It mainly had 2 win conditions of Scorched or Psycho Beale. However jumping to 49 to add 2 SanSan's proved to be a wise decision. My wins literally are split 3 ways now between FA, Scorched, and Psycho Beale.

Even though there are only 12 ice, 6 of those ice are very annoying for the runner and the other 6 are super cheap. 8 of the ice are annoying if you count the 2 wraparounds for AI decks. I can't count how many times the 1 Flare has been a Boss! Kills Plascrete or a console in about 15% of my games.

Everytime I build a new corp deck and lose a couple games, I go back to this deck and it just wins.
