WrmHole Leela (Undefeated at a GNK!)

LeinadColtrane 21

This deck went undefeated at a GNK at Labyrinth in DC, through three rounds of swiss (vs ETF NEXT/Batty, PU, and NEH Turtlebacks). It's a pretty standard Leela build, so I'm not gonna provide an extensive writeup, just some brief notes:

Keyhole is my favorite multiaccess - it's a really strong pressure card, and it combos well with Leela's aptitude for opening and exploiting weak points. It also combos well with The Turning Wheel. Every Keyhole run is a Turning Wheel counter, and whenever you don't trash an agenda, you're thinning R&D to better dig through it.

Tapwrm is also great in Leela. When I first saw the card I thought it wouldn't work well in an aggressive runner deck. I am fairly confident now that I was wrong. The trick is dropping it when the corp has unprotected or weakly protected centrals, forcing them to choose between giving you (mostly) free credits or purging and leaving their weak points exposed.

I think the rest of this deck is self-explanatory. I could see dropping Sacrificial Construct, since it rarely does much work as a one-of. I used to run Gordian Blade instead of Peregrine, but I dropped it in exchange for the second Keyhole, and I don't miss it. When Mad Dash comes out I will need to find space for it, because that card is ridiculous.
