The deck is @joseki's list dropping a QPM for a 2nd ARES.
To run 3 ARES or 3 QPM. That's the question most CtM players ask themselves. ARES is great and you want it early, but the late game pressure a cat can offer is unrivaled. I've long since settled on 2 & 2. It typically allows you to score an ARES early, as well as have some late game pressure with the cats. Also, if your opponent sees 2 ARES before 2 cats they can get reckless, assume 3 ARES and score your 2nd cat for you.
