frontu 313

This deck is my best kept secret. It runs early (Kit's ability + SMC), is cost efficient (Datasucker + Cloak/Dagger), and cheap (most cards only cost 1 or 2 credits). It is resilient against program destruction, NBN has a hard time locking up R&D, and it avoids Jinteki damage with Indexing. Outpace the corp and win before they stabilize. Save your Parasites for big barriers, low strength sentries, or Tollbooth. Or just use them all and recur them with Levy AR. With proper piloting, you cannot lose.

I had included a Cyber-Cypher and taken out a ZU.13 in a previous version, but the flexibility of ZU.13 early on really slows the corp down. Cyber-Cypher might be good late-game on R&D, but between Parasite/Escher, I haven't had any late-game trouble.

This deck seems pretty MU-greedy, is 1x Desperado the best console?

Why not 3x Toolbox instead of Desperado and Akamatsu? That would give you +3 MU because it would also make ZU.13 free, and the 2 recurring credits per turn are just as good as Desperado. Plus you're freeing up a card slot and three of Kit's precious influence.

desperado pressures archives, especially with a datasucker on the field. But the 1 of seems blech.

I would swap the single desperado for grifter. Kit is actually the most suited to run that card as it is really hard to stop kit when she wants in.

I like grifter in shaper, much cheaper on influence, and in kit of all places, really adds cash.

I could definitely see a version of this with Toolbox and Magnum Opus instead of Akamatsu and Armitage. That's worth trying out.

As it is, the credit curve is really well balanced, so I'd be worried about throwing in a 9 credit install (Toolbox), But maybe with Magnum Opus to take advantage of the new MU it would be doable.

Interesting low cost idea. Have to give it a spin. Toolbox and MO would really slow it down though.

Thanks, Code! Check out version 2.0. It performs even more solidly.
