I love Weyland. I understand it is probably the weakest corp but scorching runners is the most satisfying way to win games. I have brought Titan to tournaments before, and did very well with it, so I decided what the heck, I will bring it to the ANRPC qualifier. Out of a pool of 21+ players, it only lost one game, and scorched out wins every other time.
I have to give a shout out to the boys over at Corpdraw, who stayed up late many a night to help me tweak the deck. They suggested Snare! since its so good against Faust and can be used to protect SanSan. Also Excalibur because it combos well with Ash. Anyways, its a pretty straight forward Titan deck. Make them spend their credits and cards dealing with ice and blow them up.

`@llama66613 Thank you for your comment. I never had trouble finding Sea Source since I can always use an Atlas token if needs be. I have two Snatch and Grab because I hate Kati Jones, she foils my plans to burn them down, so the sooner I can kill her off the better. Plus Snatch and Grab can be alternate source for a tag if I can get the runner to think I am going the fast advanced route. It never worked in practice, but the thought was there. Snare! is tech, and I have to thank Corpdraw for convincing me to put it in. Not only is it good Faut protection, but it also serves the purpose of protecting R&D against deep medium digs. And yes, I am in the SWC. |
Nice! Yet another Titan coming first at an ANRPC Qualifier!
Your ice suite seems nice and diverse. Did it ever seem hard to build up an economy in the early game? Why did you feel two copies of Snatch and Grab were needed considering you don't even need to tech against Film Critic?
Your agenda suite is very similar to mine, except I cut a single High-Risk for a Hostile and a Geothermal, but I have much more of a rush build anyway.
Snares as anti-Faust tech makes a lot of sense. I haven't had Snares in my deck for quite a while, but I'll experiment with putting a few back in. Is 1 SEA Source hard to find?
Oh and finally, would you happen to be in the SWC?
