GRNDL over advance

Overadvance ghost branches (after you have scorched in hand), project atlas to taste, and grndl refineries. That's a win win lose proposition for you. Two options make you rich, 1 option tags the crap out of the runner. The runner only wins if he runs an overadvanced atlas, and that comes with a bite if you have 1,2, or even 3 PC's in hand.

Do it once with atlas scoring a few counters, and they're likely to run it the second time, put in an atlas or ghost branch. Let them take the atlas, and instantly tudor up 2-3 punitive counterstrikes with atlas counters and do meat damage to them. They also let you go get scorches if you install a ghost branch that they run and hit. It creates the ultimate bluff by over advancing deck!

nb4 simone...wasted click and deck space. Operation econ is more than enough to not worry about advancement money. You can always do like hedge fund, adv, adv. Next turn 3 adv. Then beanstalk 2 adv.

Matrix analyzer might be the correct play here over tollbooth. -2 tollbooth +2 matrix analyzer? -1 sea source -2 toll booth + 3 matrix analyzer??

I think tollbooth is fine. Put it over an atlas and they'll think anything in that server is desirable after you mass advance an atlas. I like this concept. I may get around to playtesting before PS comes out. Also...just FYI, it's TUTOR not Tudor. The first is a teacher (and is a reference to Demonic tutor from MtG) the second is a British royal dynasty. :)

I wonder if its my phone auto correcting it every time without me noticing because I definitely know that...weird. Either way, I'm looking forward to punitive counterstrike for Jinteki and weyland!

I might be inclined to drop one datapike for a third refinery. Personally, I'd consider Data Raven before Tollbooth (similarly taxing, cheaper to rez and fits better with your... urban renewal plans), but then I'd go -1 hunter +1 Caduceus (so you don't have too many "cruise-through" ICE).

Not sure I'm a huge fan of the Swarm and Frackings - lots of Bad Pub you'll be getting here, making runs extremely proficient (leaving the runner more money to defeat your Counterstrike traces, for instance).

Maybe the thee Frackings could be two Government Contracts? Similar final effect, less brutal consequences, and fits better with your Punitive Counterstrike plan. Also, it would free up one card slot (third refinery).

Honestly the reason for the bad pub sources is the fast econ to recover from siphons. By late game when bad pub might matter more, you should be piling up cash to trigger the sea source which should be in hand. So unless they're making the game winning run, they don't want to be successful in running, mitigating the effect of bad pub. Also, bad pub does not effect counterstrike, since its only during runs, not traces. So it also doesn't effect sea source.

As a runner would you take a potshot at R&D that costs you 8, putting you as much as 10 below the corp's money on round 10-12 after the corp has got a few atlas counters? I don't think you would, or risk SEA-SE-SE.

I think the third refinery is an okay idea, but playtesting is required to find the right blend.

I like toolbooth because its more hearty against people not running femme, and I have the cash for it. If I want to stick in false leads instead of posted bounties, I might use data raven. Both worth testing (I'm not a big weyland player, so I'm not sure which is better).

More concisely, bad pub gets you piles of cash, and doesn't effect you during your own turn, so all that money can ensure you land 3 punitive counterstrikes after they steal a 2 or 3 pointer. It has the same effect for SEA Source scorched, whichever you need, if you have the atlas counters for it.

it has been decided, -3 fracking +2 cleaners +1 refinery. This goes into the over/always advance theme and the meat damage theme. Scored cleaners + 3 punitives will really let the runner know who is boss.
