The Fly of May

The idea of this deck is being an anti-rush deck that uses Inside Job, Boomerang, and Mayfly to be able to challenge almost any remote, and installing mayfly and other breakers efficiently with Khan. If the corp turtles up more, then sit back with Data Folding and make hq runs when you have enough money with the Gauntlet. Khusyuk is there for a chance in games that seem out-of-reach, although remember that HQ pressure and remote pressure are Plan A.

As far as deck slots, I'm pretty satisfied with all the events and hardware. A lot of the cards are there to be useful while still lining up a Khusyuk on 3. Verbal plasticity and dreamnet have been useful, and since the deck needs a little bit of draw, albeit not too much since it is a 40 card deck, I wouldn't cut them. Spending 5 influence on District 99 and GS Sherman, however, I'm not too sure about. If there was a better breaker for 3 to install, I'd be all for it, although I know Cleaver isn't an option bc of having to deal with Pharosi. I haven't drawn District 99 yet- this slot used to be Jak Sinclair, who was dead in too many matchups- but if there is a better resource for 3 and up to 3 inf I'd go with it if you find the plan of building up counters lategame from trashing boomerang too durdly.

Looking at matchups, all matchups are fine except heavy-tagging matchups. IP Block is not this deck's friend, and running against it you can find yourself not being able to clear all tags by end of turn, and this deck really relies on resources for late-game staying power. So, against Reality Plus, you have to be real thoughtful with when and where you run. I haven't played against a taggy weyland or CTM yet, but I'd imagine that against weyland you can play around it easier by just having enough money to clear HHN, and against CTM just target Daily Business Show, check remotes, making good use of Falsified, so eventually agendas pile up in HQ and swipe it with Gauntlet. All of that is completely conjecture though.

If you choose to play this deck, have fun!
