Bootcamp Glacier, 1st place in Hasselt Regional, 1st seed

Thanks for posting. I have been trying out Bootcamp Glacier over the past few weeks so curious about:

• Every recent list seems to be dropping The Root which seemed like a powerful economic asset in Blue Sun. Is it that it's too combo'y (needing Adonis and EBC to really get maximum potential) or that you have to protect it or simply not quite good enough compared to other deck slot choices.

• How did you find the effectiveness of Taurus? Given no kill package it doesn't seem it has as much upside in a scorch-based Blue Sun and it's D4v1d and Switchblade-able fairly easily.

• Did you face any games where cyberdex virus suite would have helped? I have 1 in my version and find it can be very helpful in archives vs. anarchs.

• The Root : You just can't devote an ICE to protect The Root. That's why it got cut off.
• Taurus is mostly there to kill Desperado / Grimoire / Clone Chip / RDI. I managed to trash a Desperado + RDI today against Leela. It did it's job.
• Yeah, the only game I lost today was against a Valencia with huge medium dig. Normally, I would try to rez as much ICEs as possible with EBC but my 2 EBC where in the bottom of my deck. A CVS here would have probably won me the game.

But what would you have cut for CVS? EBC most likely... and then it also would have been at the bottom of the deck.

No. EBC is key. I would probably cut the 3rd restructure instead. The 3rd restructure should have been a Snatch & Grab but I forgot to bring S&G with me yesterday so :D

The restructure was my choice as well, but it was a difficult choice since restructure is so universally applicable while CVS is either really great or dead.

With 3CW and 1 Taurus 1 Wormhole, do you find 18 ices comfortable? I've been back and forth on 18 or 19 ices. And with taurus I almost always go 19...

it's okay-ish. Not great but still ok. I would probably go back to 2 Lotus + 1 Power Shutdown, post NRE.
