Stay Thirsty My Friends V1.2

Cancer Ace 156

He doesn't run Ice Carver, though he may have designed it.

He once accessed a Fetal AI, and raised it as his own child.

When he met Thomas Haas at a party, he went home with his mother.

Weyland Consortium considers him a trustee, because so much of their bad publicity comes from him.

He tells stories about NBN, who never seems to have a story about him.

Logos is his console simply because it's color matches his favorite drink.

He is... the most interesting runner in the world.

"I don't always run, but when I do, I prefer to just ignore ICE.

"Stay thirsty my friends."

Still playing the old blackmail build from last month? Is it working? I've been curious to see if it's growing any.

This build is experimental to see if I like Activists Support over Frame Job. Haven't decided yet. This one seems to take more time to setup, but I'm not losing quite as bad when I pull it out. Time will tell.

And in however many months of playing this game, I haven't found many Runner decks that I really like. Iain Blackmail is one of the few that I feel I have some control, where as other runner decks I just feel off. So I keep going back to it when other decks aren't working out.

I just won when I was down six agenda points to nothing, so clearly there is something to this. I think it's just missing a little something to make it a serious contender. Maybe the new cycle will give it to us- like Hades Fragment for Noise.

Swordsman isn't a problem ?

Honestly, it probably would be. If I was rebuilding this deck now I might splash a Mimic (or Corroder for Wraparound). However, this deck mostly worked by not running without using Blackmail, so all ICE were irrelevant. Keep in mind it's more than a year old now, and I think is instantly outclassed by Valencia decks which can often do the same thing without jumping through as many hoops.
