Get ready to break new barriers with this beast of a Sunny deck!
This is the second version of my Sunny deck I posted a while ago.
It has a pretty decent matchup against CTM because of the link, but it isn't actually super link heavy. No rabbit holes here!
This deck is all about expediting what Sunny is good at in the mid-late game: getting in to all the servers.
The basic strategy is to draw, draw, draw with Diesel, Deuces Wild, and (in a sense) Making an Entrance. Your Hoppers are better left for damage protection and for the link, but you may find yourself needing the draw boost.
Then, you get Nexus online ASAP. This will allow you to create pressure while using Temujin and career fair to bolster up your econ. I love this card so much. I actually miss it when I'm not playing Sunny and I see a Tollbooth or a Data Raven. Nexus doesn't give a shit about those two ICE.
From this point the strategy varies.
Ideally you're gonna want to get Jak on the table along with Turning Wheel. This has amazing effects against Bioroids for the extra clicks, White Tree, Asset Spam, and, of course, it's awesome to be able to get free runs for building Datasucker tokens, Turning Wheel counters, and Temujin creds!
Install your breakers on a need-to-break basis! Thats because Nexus is so powerful that sometimes you can hold off on installing a single breaker until mid-late game. But, you know, ymmv.
I threw in a Symmetrical Visage because I still found myself drawing for creds. So in the games that it appears its actually pretty useful. Also, 1 net shield is in there for when you just cant deal with Biolock or something like that. This is the most flexible spot. I would love to be able to have 3 Temujin, so this would be the first cut if you don't have a lot of net damage in your area.
Another day, another paycheck is dope. Don't let the haters get you down. It has helped me to get a credit lead on so many Hard Hitting News decks that I feel a sort of attachment to it! Plus, some Corps are slotting Currents just to deal with Rumor Mill, so it's nice to have an answer to whatever current they put out as well.
