Punitive Hospitality (0-4 @ NANPC Boston)

I hadn't played since October, so the best decision was to bring a new identity with an untested deck to a highly competitive tournament. I have a handful of games where this deck was all 3's but struggled closing games out if I was forced to have to score, so the night before decided to throw in some Hostile's.

Turns out I don't think either version would've done well! Runner econ makes the Punitive win challenging, and I had trouble jamming out agendas fast enough for actual wins. I think Nuvem is a real fun identity. Reminds me of playing BaBW for the first time with the added bonus of chucking cards into the bin that feel less useful. One day, I will learn that Angelique is always useful and I should not put her in Archives.

I'll probably try Nuvem again at some point but in the mean time will leave this where it is. The deck itself is fun to play but didn't work out day of the tournament.

Shout out to NotAgain, Ysengrin, Whiteblade, et al. for a phenomenal event. It's been a long time since I'd been to anything with so many people in attendance that also love this fantastic card game, felt like going to Nats way back when.
