Quetzal and Darwin deck, that tries to give options for both short and long games. In short games, you attack aggressively with early disruption like, imp, knight, and Q's ability. For longer games you want to rig build and get out the recurring credits for Darwin.
I've played with it in a local tournament, went 3-1, however it's still very much a work in progress. I added a few things for blue sun, the crescentus and then utopia shard instead of plascrete. A few notes on card choices:
- Duggars vs. Inject: Both seem good, I found I like duggars better here as sometimes a card you really need is at the bottom of your deck, and Duggars puts it within reach. However it comes at cost of 3 inf and 2 other deck slots since I think you need levy and sot to use it this way without extra hand size.
- No datasuckers, I piloted a noise version of this for a long time, but I was finding increasingly that the suckers were really just a mill so they didn't make it in.
- Déjà vu vs Clone chip: I used to have inf room for clone chip but with E3 something had to go. I miss the clone chip though.
- Missing cheap breakers, e.g. Mimic or corroder. I'm thinking of adding in 1 of each, with all the digging you can find them, but really you would just hope you draw them when they would be useful. Tsurugi is so painful to break if you don't have E3 out yet. I tried Cujo, but he is too expensive, not quite the anarch faerie I was hoping for.
I really enjoy playing this deck, I find it makes for tense games a lot of the time, I'm sure there are more ways it could be improved, and am open to ideas or suggestions.
It seems like a fun deck to play!
I have a few questions :
