basic Idea is: dinosaurus with yog + rielle ability (+ tinkering + paintbrush just to be sure) fast and economic runs. run where? deeply r&d ofc. R&D interface, maker's eye. Prof contacts and magnum opus and diesel as economy/draw engine. Test run as "demonic tutor" for icebreakers (yes, old MTG player here :) ) datasucker + personal touch for mimic (or yog if you install mimic on dinosaurus). Plascrete because Punitive Counter makes it fundamental. Economy: daily casts, armitage and Kati jones
clone chip because....well: better safe than sorry. :D

I totally agree but tbh which cards do i need to worry about by a run in R&D? Snare and Shock. In order to be flatlined by a run in jinteki's R&D i would have to access at least 2 snares with 3 cards accessed (i'm talking of maker's eye, hardly i will have all the R&D interfaces installed). And even in that case, the corp must pay 8 credits in order to inflict me dmg with 2 snares. Hardly a chance. What else? Shock? 1 dmg? even in one of the worst case (1 snares and 2 shock on 3 cards accessed) it would NOT flatline me (since i would only run with 5 cards and obviously NOT on last click). The only way of flatline me in R&D would be by accessing at least 2 snares, difficult but not impossible yes. But the corp should pay 8 credits and i'd like to take the risk and even if i would access more that 3 cards (maybe with 2 R&D interfaces and 1 maker's eye, i would run only after playing Diesel with ALREADY 5 cards in hand) ;) - that way only 3 snares would have a chance of flatline (but then the corp should pay 12 credits) |
What happens when you dig deep in R&D against a traditional Jinteki trapper deck? There are enough tricks that will bite you out of R&D nowadays to make this potentially very painful.
I'd include a copy or two of Deus X as insurance against Jinteki's dangerous labs.
