This is the UK Nats Ride or Di(v)e list with 2 card changes (https://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/e2973ed3-7d58-400d-b540-d167ff5c3e91/ride-or-di-v-e-4th-16th-uk-nats-2023)
I changed a stoneship and the compile both to telework contracts. I found in some games while testing the deck my economy was getting pushed waaay too thin and I wanted to be able to maybe bolster that a bit so I tried teleworks, they are not bad and feel pretty awesome to jam off a pantograph trigger. I think the original article does a really good job talking about all the strategy this deck could have to offer more than I could ever touch on so I would really recommend reading that instead of this if you haven't already.
I've been jamming alot of Netrunner with my wife since nationals and I am really proud of our results at this CO, especially proud of her taking 1st place so she can represent team My Cinnamon Toast Crunch at the circuit invitational. I enjoy taking the role of the fretting partner who can't bear to watch the games play out because it requires 0 strategy.
Rounds (My corp was Rotom Appliance's boring PD btw)
Round 1 - ID into MCTC top member bemi
Round 2 - Sweep into R+ and Freedom - Lat does really well into R+ I find although this may not be super obvious until you have played the matchup a bit as it's not just a free win. Try get fermenter early and have a simulchip to recur it each time you take, be bold with your fermenters as you should have the economy to support it ticking high and R+ really hates purging.
Round 3 - Split Corp side into Thule and Kit - This was a modified Barf Thule list which I have not lost to until this match. So much went wrong here from myself, I messed up a clot timing to block a false lead score from MCA trash (For some reason I forgot you could click MCA and then click trash in the same turn, just nerves I guess and I could have played clot from hand the turn before). From there a second false lead also eventually got snuck and I just spiraled into a pit of eventually being end of the lined after accidently swiping a third false lead from the top of R&D. In the end Lat really did have a False Lead.
Round 4 - Sweep into The Outfit and Hoshiko - Lat absolutely rolls the FA version of Outfit IMO, not much more to say. Just lock down the match and eventually pivot into the double deep dive, I've also played a lot of this deck and a lot into it so I'm very familiar with the match up with decks that are unfavoured to beat it as well.
In the end the main thing with Lat is you kind of need to be ok with irritating your opponent every turn when you start asking for their handsize while you already have tempo on them, be sure to be a standup sport as possible apart from this otherwise people are quickly going to grow to dislike playing against your runner :P

Congrats on the strong finish! I think your changes are smart - the deck is definitely about 1 econ card short, but as a Compile stan I made that sacrifice for the sake of flexibility. Telework is definitely the next econ card I would put in if I had the slot. Ride on! 🛵
