Had a small GNK with winter kit this past weekend. Because of the heavy snow it was only the local group for a total of 6. We played 4 rounds of swiss (After three rounds I was in first with 10 points and Stubbs was in second with 9. Since we hadn't played yet we did one more round to determine overall victor). I dropped 2 games with corp (1 in the final round) and this deck went undefeated.
Standard Nexus Kate derived from ElderMason's awesome deck and tweaked for MWL. I had Faust out at first but after playing around realized sometimes you just need a breaker that doesn't rely on money. Which proved true a couple of times this tournament. Main changes for MWL -1 Clone Chip, - 1 Clot, -1 Trade In, -1 Stimhack, -1 Deus X and +2 Scavenges, +1 Levy, +1 Sharpshooter, +1 Maker's Eye (which I might switch to Trade-In). This deck now suffers to fast advance because of the removal of clot so relies on either R&D lock or Utopia Shard to keep agendas out of hand. Sharpshooter for the Archers I am seeing a lot of in the local meta. I put Levy in over Trade-In because I noticed from all the card draw it usually isn't that hard to find what you need but the deck does get low. So against PE, hitting a Shattered Remains, or Weyland Power Shutdown there is now an option to get hardware back.
Best/luckiest play was installing Utopia Shard from hand for the win against Putty who was piloting an Off The Grid Blue Sun deck with two cards in hand (turned out was a Vanity and GFI) with a Government Takeover in remote. He had unlimited money and 5 ice on HQ.
