Ken has always had the promise of being super-aggressive and making a lot of money doing it. Now he finally has the card to make the use of his ability and extensive influence: Out of the Ashes!
This deck gets stupid-rich. It does this by keeping the pressure on the corp, especially on the central servers, where you're best putting the pressure on anyway. It is stubborn like Adam but less encumbered. Out of the Ashes earns you money with limited set-up in the early game (or just acts as perfect Faust-fuel) before causing the corp massive problems mid to late-game and earning you a lot more money from Three Steps Ahead.
You worry about asset-spam, I know. Oh, I know. But if your biggest problem is the corp protecting the assets they're getting out there, you're already out-playing them, and this deck is faster than they are. When you need the hail-mary runs on remotes, Faust, Inside Job, and Bribery can do the trick.
I know, it doesn't look like it should work. I've been playing it (granted, amongst my friends) for a few weeks now. It hasn't lost yet.
Eager for your thoughts.
Cool deck! I've been trying to shove ashes into apex, but I want to party so bad! Just some thoughts:
I feel like legwork should be in there. It is arguably the most splashed criminal card, and for good reason. Sometimes you want have turning wheel set up. And I know it is sacrilege, but you could remove desperado for a couple doppelganger, save an influence, and run a second turning wheel, which could be huge.or run a surprise apocalypse, maybe even removing an ashes or two.
The only other thing I would worry about is draw, maybe a couple drug dealers could be slotted in, or if you're ballsy, some investment seminars.
