Can You Keep Up? (Standard Ken with Data-Para)

Greywind 57

This has been my favourite runner build lately. Pretty much standard Ken with datasuckers and parasites to support accesses. It usually generates a lot of money. It was fast and fun to play, while I took 2nd place twice in two Store Championships where it went 4/5 in both of them.

If the Meta consists of a lot of HB or Weyland glaciers I recommend playing -1 Zu13, -1 Corroder, -1 Symmetrical Visage, +1 Peacock, +1 Levy Ar Lab, +1 Quality Time.

It used to have Comet instead of Desperado in the initial build, but I soon realized that I was getting out of steam late game. The plan was to hit fast, but if the game took too long, I needed that LARLA to bring back my economy cards. Thus, I dropped the Comets due to influence. Then I dropped LARLA since Desperado usually was generating enough cash on its own.

Do you find that this deck dies completely to Caprice/Crisium grid due to its reliance on successful runs for econ?

@caesarGenerally, I never have problems with economy. There is usually an open server in order to make a successful Dirty Laundry run (4-7 credits), Sure Gamble and Daily Casts are there as well. Perhaps I've been lucky with Caprice and never really played against an "all in Crisium" deck.

Most of the times, Ken is too fast and scores a couple of agendas early game either with Maker's Eye and Legwork or just by finding and installing the cheap breakers fast.

There are a couple of problems I came up against though: first one being installing Femme Fatale, that usually means I have to hold back a few turns afterwards and the second one was when I played against a heavy Glacier HB deck where I was at 6 points early on and I struggled to find that extra agenda. The Corp nearly decked out and I was out of steam having played all of my economy cards. I initially put a LARLA in (instead of a second Corroder and Zu13), but I quickly found out that I never used it in any of my future games. I guess it's a meta choice.
