Deck I'm taking to a Store Championship in Idaho. Basic premise is to spend the early part of the game building up for a power turn in the early-mid game. Mulligan for Logos, which can tutor important pieces if the corp rushes out an agenda and to get a bigger hand size to hold cards. Leela's power is great to trigger along with Logos to grab a Sneakdoor for brutal Archives pressure, an Indexing for a slam into R&D, or Legwork to wipe out HQ. Hades and Utopia Shards are mostly there to break combos or snipe some points from under Jackson Howard's nose, but they are susceptible to trashing since you'll often end up floating tags.

It went undefeated in 5 rounds of swiss but gave up my two losses of the tournament in the elimination bracket. The losses were against NEH Astrobiotics, which is typically a good match up for the deck. I lost first in a close game against my training partner (there were multiple NAPD accesses where I only had 3 credits, which is disappointingly bad play on my part). The second loss was more decisively out of my favor: lots of taxing ice and a clutch Closed Accounts kept me from getting into centrals consistently, and my multiaccess attacks ended up being duds. Hades Fragment won me several games since most corps don't expect it to suddenly drop in a criminal deck. Utopia Fragment saved me twice as well, first trashing a Midseasons and then later trashing a Scorched Earth. Sometimes the decoder situation feels risky, but it never came up during the tournament (this was before everyone started to glacier up after Clot). Overall one of my favorite decks to play. |

Awesome, thanks for the report. 3 credits when accessing an NAPD is so brutal! Yeah, it comes up surprisingly rarely. I still want to fit a Lady or something in somewhere though... |
