1st Place at Italian Nationals 2016: Cleaner of slums

The data pack “Blood Money” was not legal for the Italian nationals 2016.

This is the runner deck that allowed me to win the Italian national. The tournament was 6 turns of swiss and top 8.

Total score: 5-1 and 2 intentional draws It won against: Palana, Russian Neh, CTM tempo tag, Crazy Gagarin, Russian Neh. I lost against a HB player that had a good start and who used biotic labor 3 or 4 times negating me "cheap" access to any server.

In a meta with loads of CTM and tags i decided to lower the amount of resources in the deck removing daily cast whose economy is not as fast as the one given by queen's gambit. I thought that asset spam meta would allow me to land safer gambits.

Other differences you can find are 2 salsette slums that had been excellent, 1 networking that wasn't that useful but gave me a psychological advantage against those CTM players who knew that i was playing with it.

I removed one parasite and i decided to aff 2 Déjà Vu for getting the remaining 2 back when after they were going in the heap. Plascrete in Italy an auto-include in every deck because Italians love meat damage. 1 Vigil was enough thanks to a strong draw engine reinforced by 2 inject that let me draw hard to find my key pieces before the corp rush.

So that's it. I want to thank my meta mates (from Genoa and Milan) and also those who supported me along 13 hours of tournament in a 35C degree location that forced me to drink 3 liters of water, 2 red bull, 1 tea and different forms of sugars. It was an amazing experience that let me learn new things, convinced me even more that every click choice is crucial and that in a very competitive tournament you have to try thinking at least 2 turns ahead.
