After seeing a few paintbrush based decks, I decided to make my own. I figured that Kit was stronger, having a "paintbrush like effect" identity - and of course, making Code Gates, it was going to be Yog-o-saurus.
EARLY GAME
You'll want to be digging deep to find both a Dinosaurus, and any one card that can search out Yog.0. With that in mind, Professional Contacts was a must - helping me trickle up to the magic 12/13cr (including the cost of Test Run/SMC for the Yog), as I dig. Public Sympathy helps hold handfuls of useful events - Indexing, Escher, FAO etc - and protect against surprise damage decks. I find PS more helpful than Plascrete as it protects against net damage too, though it will feed Sweeps Week quite badly. Usually a rich Corp player is no problem, as you'll end up quite rich yourself. Once you get your Yog set up, its time to start facechecking ICE on. A less clever Corp player will rez everything as you touch it - the deck is somewhat concerned with an unrezzed ICE sitting deep in a server that could be a nasty Sentry. Sharpshooter will help facecheck when that occurs, as well as hitting deeper ICE with FAO. Early facechecking of the first few ICE will also help (though, you'll need a bit of bravery). When you can, go digging for Paintbrush. Your full kit is Yog-O-Saurus with up to 2 The Personal Touch on it, Datasucker and Paintbrush. You'll have a spare MU for Parasite or Sharpshooter.
MID - LATE GAME
At this point, hopefully you're looking at a whole bunch of rezzed ICE, and the glorious feeling of being able to touch any server at a whim. At this point, the pressure is on - any card the Corp puts down can be reached, and you have full control of HQ and R&D. Indexing comes into play here - spend a turn setting R&D up as a fun place to go. Try to learn what the Corp player does when you hit it - does he leave it as-is, or draw through? Use that to plan your Indexing order - and of course, Jackson Howard is the enemy. He must be shut down whenever possible.
Against damage-based decks, keep your hand high into 7+ cards. Usually you can trip over any Snares or low-advanced traps you find. Keep drawing up, and throw the Levy AR when needed. At some point, drop and Escher on the table. It should be pretty straightforward, but - Code Gates go to the back of servers (If you can build a full Code Gate server, stick it over R&D and have a party), unrezzed ICE go to the front. Spread Str 8+ ICE about - you don't want to have to spend more than one or two Datasucker counters to get into a single server, or the Corp will drop a purge on you and start trying to score.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I'm considering dropping Katie for Daily Casts, or another handy event. I find that, towards the end of a game, I'll be sitting on an odd 20cr with nothing to do with them. I've considered playing with Deep Thought, but am less interested in having a full MU rig. Its useful to be able to swap between Parasite (to shoot down those upsetting high Str/annoying "on encounter" ICE), or Sharpshooter (for the facechecks). Traps could be a serious hazard to the deck. I'm considering dropping in 3x Infiltration (maybe for Dirty Laundry) to help with deciding what to run on.

Since you want to keep recurring Parasite and/or Sharpshooter, I'd try to fit in clone chips. Also lets you recur a SMC to fetch either of those, Paintbrush, and Datasucker. |
In my experience, Daily Casts really slows down the tempo of a deck (because it costs 3 and doesn't see a positive return on your investment until the second turn - so it turns out to be a great econ. card to make money, but only if you already have money.) Maybe you could benefit from Personal Workshop, you could toss Sharpshooter, Paintbrush, Parasite, Datasucker, or The Personal Touch on to it, and you could also have a good way to spend Bad Publicity tokens. Also, it would be less click intensive than Kati Jones, so you might have a few extra clicks to paint your way through an extra layer of ICE!
