Continuing my second place streak (3)...
Lost 1 game on the day, RNGsus was not kind. 3 pointer then government takeover.
Deck freezes out the runner, then scores out. Best scoreout is utopia into government takeover (steal for 12???).
I think working in sea source is much better than punitive, I treated it as an opportunity strike on a 6 point early retribution, and nothing else, and that's 3 slots that could be better used elsewhere.

Very nice deck and one I will try myself some time. Grail in Blue Sun is new to me, but I could see it really stalling the runner even more. I've seen people using Punitive with the Takeover and when it hits, it sucks. Though, I can see the issue of running the three for that one time event. Not sure what I'd do to get a Sea Source in here. Maybe remove IT and one Grail, though they work wonder in this deck I'm sure. |

IT really is your only shot late game when runners are rigged up, and early vs shapers. It's fantastic against fixed breakers and suckers. Might hurt the long game too much. I'd cut punitive and add a grim and maybe cyberdex suite, to make runners face plant archer. To keep a kill condition you'd need cleaners and sea source+SE IMO. The strongest add in the current meta is definitely the second grim though, and with mills recursion, it's 100% upshot. |
Interesting deck, thanks for sharing. Also, feel compelled to share the pain of the perpetual bridesmaid -- I'm at 4 times in a row for 2nd place myself this year :) Of course, getting play to maximum netrunner each tourney is a genuine positive to it.
