Turbodrip Kaplan v0.2 - Engage the Hyperdriver!

#endgame 130

The short version:

  • Modded became Street Peddler, allowing resource installs and Hayley triggers on the corp turn, Stimhacks for hardware and resources, and increasing the deck's burn rate;
  • Legwork became Vamp, because you are usually going to get on top of the corp's money;
  • Sure Gambles became Hyperdriver and more Armitage, because you need to go even faster;
  • Same Old Thing saves Levy or recycles Vamp/Stimhack;
  • Aesop saves Levy if it's trapped on a 3-event Peddler, and makes all the resources more efficient; and
  • Mimic enables more early pressure because you don't have a 7-credit hurdle to start breaking sentries.

Questionable cards:

  • Public Sympathy: It's meant to offset the handsize cost of spamming Stimhack, but I'm not playing as many as I had hoped. Maybe it should be a Modded?
  • Deus X: Nobody around here seems to run big net damage, and I keep dying to meat damage. Maybe it should be a Plascrete?
  • Ninja: I need something for bigger sentries and this seemed like the least bad option. Maybe it should be a Knight? If I can open more card slots maybe Datasucker and Femme could go here?

Closing thoughts:

  • HYPERDRIVER IS AMAZING. At worst, it's a 1-cost tutorable Diesel that you play on the corp's turn, and at best you can drain Armitage for a lot of money.
