Trashing the ZeitGeist

Pure and simple, a criminal aggro deck focusing on speed and aggressive runs to shut the corp down, and fast. Somewhat of an evolution of Andysucker, but with some specific tailoring for Geist's phenomenally useful ability. I'd been floating most of the this deck around as an idea for a while now, but not really done anything with it, until I heard the TWA podcast that was running a similar version, but running crypsis instead of a breaker suite.

Events: Standard criminal events, make money off your runs, special order is insurance for finding crypsis.

Hardware: Clone chips trigger Geist's ability, and desperado is just... well. Desperado.

Resources: John Masanori is fantastic, drawing you cards as you do your security testing runs. Crash space is good, the recurring credits make siphon's a lot more profitable (especially given I can be doing six siphons a game), whilst also ensuring you are unscorchable with one of these on the table, and four cards in hand. Same old thing becomes scarily efficient, drawing you a card and playing an event for two clicks, making SOT an emergency shutdown a really strong move. Street Peddler is good draw, and with the low number of events, tends to be a safe bet to.

Programs: Old Father Crypsis. Efficient, and with the lack of ice the corp will have, clicking him isn't really a problem at all. Spike is there just in case I see a wraparound to turn it off. Crescentus draws cards and shuts down servers, whilst parasite can be used to get rid of nasty cards like data ravens, or komainu, or to get rid of low cost ice that is costing clicks on crypsis. Datasucker obviously combos well with the rest of the set up.

Your aim is to keep the corp as poor as humanly possible, as you do not have the multi-access to deal with fast advance. SanSan grid fast advance is easily stoppable, but Fastrobiotics will be a problem. You should probably be running at least once a turn on average, and don't be scared to float tags. Crash space will save you, and if the corp doesn't have any money, how can they scorch you?

you realized that Crash Space can be trashed if you are tagged right ....

Of course, if you end your turn tagged, you could well be in trouble, unless you have both on the table. But if the corp has to spend a click in some form or another to land a tag on you, then you are fine with one crash space on the table, and 4 cards in hand. Unless they have scored the cleaners...

Of course, midseason replacements is a risk, but midseasons decks tend to struggle to have enough money to do that against him.
