Cerebral Imaging Burnout

mangustheix 1

This deck is built around traps and trying to get some heavy ice up to make it so dangerous to run. It has Tyr's Hand and Ryon Knight behind a bunch of bioroid ice to try and get some brain damage out (it doesnt happen that often, but if they know they are there then normally people are more cautious). Hopefully Defective Brainchips is out, but syncing that all up is quite difficult.

For the ice it was a bunch of bioroid ice which all try to have some brain damage to tie in with the attempt to ambush. There is also a Cerebral Overwriter for a little bit of dummy advancing.

I am not sure about Ashigaru. The whole deck started out as an idea of making a deck with a massive HQ with IQ and Ashigaru. HQ proved difficult to get out, and Ashigaru costs a lot (plus with the Shrike coming soon it seems a bit weak).

I also wondered about changing to Cybernetics Division: Humanity Upgraded, but I don't know if I can take advantage of the lower deck size, and work with 4 cards in hand (cutting to 49 was difficult enough as it was). It is not a fast deck.

Any comments or suggestions would be great. I built it around packs I have, but I would be open to any suggestions I am not aware of (i filter the stuff I dont have so am probably not aware of it). Especially since the OoP stuff should be in (got lucky and found an Opening Moves). Also, I have no idea if someone has done this before, quite new to this.

I've tried decks like this, too. You coud try for a protected Eliza's Toybox...

That is a good idea. I do find that I get the ice all out there and quite a bit of cash in the bank, but it can be a bit risky with a run which uses all my money, and then I cant hold onto a large hand. Having that out would definitely let me get the big bits of Ice up and running, and then usually the small bits can be a surprise.
