Noise Recurr II.b

tobinlopes 99

Went undefeated in 9 person, 4 rd Swiss tourney at Total Escape Games on June 14, 2014. The best game was against Ryan B. I had to win a Psi-war to steal Future Perfect ftw. Don't know about Express Delivery - if something comes along for which I need the influence I may have to drop it. Maybe Lamprey?

I've been messing with something similar recently. I've been afraid to go down to 2 ProCo, I mulligan enough for it as is. How are you feeling about it?

It was the latest change and I love it. I draw it often enough with the two copies. My default click is to draw until I get the engine going. I only mull if I don't have any viruses or econ.

That makes sense, I'll have to give it a try. Express delivery is something I've been itching to test. Or maybe I'll just save the influence for when Cache arrives. :)

Also, have you tried Darwin? I find it's great for making sure paper walls and Quandries don't keep me out, early game.

A previous build, one that won the Haunted Game SC, used Darwin and cyber feeders. A couple of corp players chuckled when I played it, but I got the last laugh. See ColoradoNetrunner profile for that deck.

I just built a Noise deck with Hemorrhage, how do you like it?

Have you thought about using Vamp, since you get loads of credits from Professional Contacts and Data Dealer?

JTG, Hemorrhage, for me, is a situational card. If corp is playing with a lot of open remotes - asset econ typically - I'll install it because it gives me the option of running twice with no cost or consequence and then making them discard. In other cases the 3c can be expensive to the deck. With Lamprey coming with Upstalk I'll probably drop to one Hemorrhage and add two Lampreys.

Semaphores, in the SC build (see ColoradoNetrunner user for that deck) I did use Vamp but hardly ever used it. The locals are pretty Siphon-averse so HQ ICE is a typical first turn as well as building HQ to make AS, and Vamp, less impactful. I also hardly ever have more than 10c as I'm drawing and spending on virus installs. Corps get nervous when they see one or two cards getting trashed every turn and that's how Noise can keep the pressure on without running.
