This deck went 6-3 in Regionals (35 players) this weekend, and together with an Chaos Theory Stealth deck - earned me 3rd seed and the first place after champ play. I went undefeated through elimination rounds.
CT Decklist: http://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/22013/-have-you-met-blackat-stockholm-regionals-2015-winner
Wins: 3 x Valencia, Maxx, Gabe, Andromeda
Losses: Whizzard, 2 x Andromeda
Its a little blurry, so I may be a little off. But in general the asset hate was pretty common this tournament.
Updates from my last deck is: -1 Utopia Fragment, -1 TGTBT, -1 Overload, +2 Beales, +1 Bernice Mai. Thoughts was to improve the agenda point condition and also throw in a surprice Bernice for her tax.
I did manage one agenda point win, the rest flatlines following midseasons ( and one bernice mai tag! ).
In general I did lose when the opponents threw caution to the wind and medium dug hard. Often severely tagged. I just could not find the additional meat damage in time. Another gear check might be good ( enigma? ) or just switch pups to elis.
Although the deck performed quite well, I feel the meta for it was not as good as it has been. Andy/Val/Whizz all keep up with the asset econ pretty well. So you need to play quickly before they outmatch you. Earlier the meta was heavliy Kate dominated which I find an easier match up in my experience.
Cheers

I haven't been trying gutenberg, since it is a little constrained on where you want to put it and is wholly transparent when the tags hit. So far the losses I seem to have is where the runner hit an agenda when poor, choose to go for it and start to medium hard. I tag them and need to race for damage cards and money (after midseasons, the siphons come right through the raven on hq). You can really get through my whole suite with just a corroder worth 2c, which is a little low. I probably want to remove the last overload as well and go for 2 etr ice, like enigma or quandary. Pup might want to be elis for that tax on rnd. I agree that the ice selection is a little bit up in the air. Especially with chrome city being out. Data Ravens is pure gold though, and I would not remove them. |
1) Have you tried Gutenberg before converging to this list. I've been playing 2 of those and 2 Data Ravens, but might cut them and go to 3 Ravens because of their larger rush potential.
2) Has the Information Overload been of use (same question as last time)? In this meta I'm really hesistant to include it, because it's 6 cost and dies miserably to NRE+Mimic or Atman4...
I think the optimal ICE mix for Butchershop still hasn't been developed. IMO, you need to have strong rush potential for aggressive plays with Breaking News, and strong stall potential for the RnD race after a Midseasons. If they start to tag float and you don't have the kill yet, you absolutely have to be able to slow them down with regards to the RnD lock. ICE selection is hard these days...
FYI, I'm playing: 2 Eli, 2 Wrap, 1 Enigma, 3 Pop-ups, 2 Data Raven, 2 Gutenberg. Thinking of cutting 1 Gutenberg to 1 Raven definitely, but it's not enough yet, I think.
