Deck valid after Second Rotation |
With Employee Strike being the most popular runner Current I realized that Harmony Medtech was in a unique position to abuse that Current. The Idea behind this deck is to force the runner into a lose-lose situation where they either play their Strike and have to steal 7 point to win or leave Paywall Implementation up and let us get rich. (Lorewise it makes sense because when medical workers Employee Strike humans suffers more corps).
Runners can't just sit back and wait until we advance because we have Embolus: If the runner make Embolus reach 4 power counter the server become impenetrable. Even having 2 power counter when everything is ICEd-up can guarantee a score. Embolus force the runner to waste cash and clicks; while Paywall makes Embolus free to re-charge.
The agenda suite is the standard six 3-point defensive Jinteki agendas to ensure Paywall never ends by the runner stealing agendas. The rest of the decklist is either money or defensive cards. A single Sadaka deserves attention Since it kills so many cards that hinder us.. Hunting Ground, Film Critic, Net Mercur, Turning Wheel and Kati Jones (if they get greedy).
This was my first time using this ID and I'm really happy how fun and easy everything came together and how encouraging all my opponents on jinteki.net were.

@DonLoverGateWe put them in our scoring remote, having only 3-pointer means it's often empty. If the remote is full we can put in an empty remote if the runner is low on credits (Like turn 1 and not Valencia). We can also put in an empty remote if Paywall is up. Remember not to create empty remotes while Embolus is charging. |

I love the basic idea, but there's room for refinement I feel. The ice suite in particular could be more taxing, and Rashida Jaheem seems like a sensible include. |

Really interesting idea! Love the original way of playing against strike! I’m interested in what strike players have decided to do against you when playing this deck? Do any play strike as a counter? Also have you experimented with any other currents in this deck? Finally I’m curious about Mind Game - I don’t rhink I’ve seen it out in the wild - what’s your thoughts behind it’s include?? |

Embolus largely decided our ICE suite.. we need alot of midrange ICE to put on all centrals otherwise runner will run the cheapest and run the remote. Our ICE suite might not look taxing but remember we tax clicks as well as credits, Also our ICE is diverse enough that we don't lose to specific breakers (Cerberus Lady is great against Eli but bad against Kakugo, Amina is good against DNA Tracker but bad against Mind Game, etc). I welcome suggestions just keep those 2 things in mind. |

I glanced over all the currents: Paywall Implementation, Death and Taxes, Housekeeping- all seemed fun to build-around. I chose Paywall because 'I' decided it was the most competitive.. (And my guess proved right with all the Crowdfundings around the place). Mind Game is here to improve the criminal matchup paying 8 for DNA which Amina breaks for 4 is worse than paying 0 for Mind Game with Amina breaks for 4. We're rarely able to afford to rez 2 DNA Trackers anyway, so it doesn't feel wrong against Anarch and Shapers either. |
Where do the Marilyns go? Do you put them in naked remotes?
