General concept here is a mind-games tempo-disruptive kill-combo deck.

Set up ice on centrals early, play out remotes with matrix analyzers. Aggressive Secretary, Ghost Branch, and Junebug can all be back channeled for a quick money stream to feed midseasons. Casting Call with Breaking News can secure a tag.

Thinking about The Future is Now to find combo pieces.

I'm inclined to think that you're dividing your attention too much between scoring, scorched, and traps. I would say those are all viable ways to take Haarpsichord, but having them all at the same time seems like you're diluting your chances with any one of them.

How do you usually win with the deck? I would take that, maybe keep a backup plan, and cut the third version. At first blush, I would advocate cutting all but one trap, maybe two. Getting influence and card slots back will mean that you will be able to advance and or kill better. It's hard to see how maybe some early premiers and another scorched wouldn't just be better than the traps and back channels plan. I like the traps and back channels plan, but I think it's maybe another deck.

I think that you have the makings of a solid kill combo/race deck here. I think it needs a little more focus though.

Thanks for looking over the list, Thopol. I've found the deck lacking in focus as well. I haven't played this particular version yet, so I'm not sure how it will play out. The previous drafts suffered from what you're pointing out.

I feel more inclined towards Traps + Back Channels + Mushin No Shin(?), combo into PsychoBeale. I find that people are reluctant to run single advanced open remotes vs. this deck, meaning I often have servers sitting there for many turns allowing me to pop the full combo in one turn.

The Haarpsichord Butchershop archetype is probably stronger in a more optimized format, but I don't feel that's taking advantage of Haarp's advantage.

Let's say I drop scorch entirely? How would you spend the influence?

Well if you cut Scorched you'll have influence for Mushin No Shin.

I like Early Premier if you're leaving remotes all over the place with advanceable traps and agendas among them. That's pretty awesome with Back Channels. I'd turn Red Herrings into something advanceable. I also don't like Aggressive Secretary as much. This is because you have so little ice that their programs become much less important. Chances are that if you end up racing with them, they're going to be able to get in somewhere, so killing a breaker isn't going to help you as much. Instead, I think Snare might be nice for RnD/HQ protection. On the same token, this might be a situation where you want TGTBT instead of Breaking News, but that's pretty out there so I don't really know.

I also don't know if you have enough money if you're going to try to Midseasons-Psycho-Beale. You're packing 6 operation and 2 Popups. That's not as much as I'd like.
